MBT Branding

The Task

For a class project, I was tasked with creating a brand identity for a small business. Metropolitan Ballet of Tacoma (MBT) lacked a cohesive brand identity. I wanted to create something that was elegant and professional, yet whimsical and fluid, something that would set the MBT apart from competitors in the area.

My Solution

For the logo, I chose to use figure and ground for a clean, modern look and incorporated curved edges for fluidity. I included variations on the logo to be used in different sizes and contexts. For the color scheme, I chose a rich teal as the primary color to set a vibrant, whimsical tone, with accents of pale pink and aqua.
